Arab low-cost Air Arabia airline will start operating regular flights on the Abu Dhabi - Tashkent - Abu Dhabi route from June 24 this year, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Air Arabia.
According to the information, flights Abu Dhabi - Tashkent - Abu Dhabi route will be operated twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.
In September 2020 Uzbek transport ministry reported that Air Arabia has received permission to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan.
On the basis of the Agreement on Air Services signed between the governments of Uzbekistan and the UAE, the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan (Uzaviation) issued Air Arabia permission for regular flights on the Abu Dhabi - Tashkent - Abu Dhabi route.
It was reported that the flights will be operated on Airbus-320-214 aircraft.
Earlier it was reported that the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan (Uzaviation) also issued a permit to Turkish Airlines to operate regular flights in the direction of Istanbul - Urgench - Istanbul and Istanbul - Fergana - Istanbul.
