Uzbekistan Airways increases number of charter flights to Moscow

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19

By Klavdiya Romakayeva - Trend:

Uzbekistan Airways announced the sale of tickets for ‘guaranteed charter flights’ to Moscow, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekistan Airways.

According to Uzbekistan Airways, the charter flights will be carried out on the Tashkent-Moscow (Uzbekistan-Russia) route twice a day starting from May 24 to June 14, 2021.

It is reported that currently Uzbek Airlines fly from Tashkent to Moscow once a week, on Saturdays.

Uzbekistan Airways noted that charter flights have intensified due to the lack of regular flights between Russia and Uzbekistan due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in both countries.

However, despite the guaranteed regularity, the Uzbek airline warns that changes are possible in the schedule.

It was also noted that citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia can purchase tickets for these flights.

Earlier it was reported that on the basis of the agreement between the government of Uzbekistan and Russia on air traffic, the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan issued the Royal Flight airline operational permit No. 9-K dated April 21, 2021, for performing regular flights to Uzbekistan on the Moscow-Andijan-Moscow route.
