Volume of cargo loaded/unloaded in Iran’s Bushehr port up

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) increased by 0.9 percent in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (June 23 through August 22, 2021), compared to the 4th month (June 22 through July 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, 296,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 146,000 tons were loaded and 150,000 tons were unloaded.

During the fifth month, 143,000 tons of cargo were exported and 60,700 tons were imported through the Bushehr port.

In addition, 578 tons of cargo were loaded and 141 tons were unloaded in the port for transit in the 5th month. At the same time, 1,870 tons of cargo were loaded, and 89,100 tons were unloaded in the port for cabotage, the statistics said.

Also, 454 tons of cargo were loaded in the port for other purposes.

According to the statistics, 30,700 tons of essential products, 5 tons of metal products, 108,000 tons of construction and mining materials, 599 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port in the 5th month of the current Iranian year.

Moreover, 2,200 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 29,300 tons of container products, 125,000 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in this port within the mentioned period.

As reported, about 11.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the fifth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.98 million tons were loaded and 5.29 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 9.8 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
