Russian KAMAZ PJSC (specialized in producing heavy vehicles) exported more than 5,000 units of vehicles to Azerbaijan from 2000 to date, the press service of the company told Trend on Oct.7.
According to the press service, the vehicles of the PJSC are presented in almost all industries of Azerbaijan.
"Among the sales leaders, the 6520 and 65115 model dump trucks can be mentioned," the press service said.
The press service reminded that in December 2014, a license agreement was signed between the company and "Ganja Automobile Plant" production union for the assembly of vehicles from components.
"This marked the beginning of the production of KAMAZ vehicles in Azerbaijan. As to date, the Ganja Automobile Plant has mastered the assembly of eight KAMAZ models, and the manufacture of special superstructures for their chassis," added the press service.
