The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Charak port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) increased by 0.1 percent in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22, 2021), compared to the 5th month (July 23 through August 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, a total of 93,800 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the sixth month. Of this, 82,500 tons were loaded, and 11,300 tons were unloaded.
About 34,500 tons of cargo were exported through the Charak port during the reporting month.
According to the statistics, about 48,100 tons of cargo were loaded and 11,200 tons were unloaded in the port for cabotage within the sixth month.
So, 7,800 tons of essential products; 1,240 tons of metal products; 65,000 tons of construction and mining materials, 1,920 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 223 tons of chemicals, 367 tons of leather, clothing, paper and wood materials, 16,300 tons of small and assorted goods were loaded and unloaded in Charak port in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.
As reported, about 11.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the sixth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.98 million tons were loaded and 5.35 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 2 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
