The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Charak port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) increased by 10.4 percent in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2021), compared to the 6th month (August 23 through September 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, about 104,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the seventh month. Of this, 92,600 tons were loaded, and 11,100 tons were unloaded.
About 38,600 tons of cargo were exported through the Charak port during the reporting month.
According to the statistics, about 53,900 tons of cargo were loaded and 11,100 tons were unloaded in the port for cabotage within the seventh month.
So, 9,800 tons of essential products, 833 tons of metal products, 74,800 tons of construction and mining materials, 2,020 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 239 tons of chemicals, 270 tons of leather, clothing, paper and wood materials, 14,700 tons of small and assorted goods and 960 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in Charak port in the 7th month of the current Iranian year.
As reported, about 12 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the seventh month of the current Iranian year.
Of this, 5.6 million tons were loaded and 6.36 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 12.5 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
