Azerbaijan sees growth in production value of machinery, equipment for 11M2021

The production value of machinery and equipment, cars, trailers and semi-trailers in Azerbaijan grew from January through November 2021, the State Statistics Committee told Trend.

According to the committee, this indicator amounted to nearly 400 million manat ($235.3 million), up by 70 million manat ($41.1 million) or 17.5 percent on annual basis.

Some 680 tractors were produced in Azerbaijan in the first 11 months of this year, which is 310 units (two times) higher than over the same period of 2020.

Meanwhile, the production number of cars in the country amounted to 1,992, whereas in 2020 it was 1,642.

Azerbaijan's GDP increased by 5.3 percent from January through November 2021, compared to 11M2020 – to over 80.6 billion manat ($47.4 billion).
