BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. Kazakhstan’s airline companies have transported 2.6 million people of the period from January through April 2022, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
Thus, Kazakh airlines transported 2 million people on domestic routes, which is compared to 2.2 million people during the same period of 2021 and 1.2 million people within the same period of 2020.
The number of people transported on international lines was 622,000 people, which is compared to 468,000 people in the same period of 2021 and 431,000 people over the reporting period of 2020.
The passenger traffic of Air Astana company amounted to about 1.1 million passengers, FlyArystan of 761,000 passengers and SCAT - about 630,000 passengers.
The number of passengers served at the local airports amounted to 5.1 million people, which is 9 percent more than 4.7 million people in the same period of 2021. The number of people served over the reporting period of 2020 was 3.3 million people.
