BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 2. The number of passengers transported through Iranian airports domestically increased by 41 percent, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, more than 8.15 million passengers were transported domestically through Iranian airports in 3 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period of last Iranian year, the figure stood at nearly 5.78 million.
