BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) decreased by 44.6 percent, in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 37,300 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 3,230 tons were loaded and 34,000 tons were unloaded.

Some 3,230 tons of cargo were exported and 33,800 tons were imported through the Noshahr port in the 4th month.

In addition, 263 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for transit.

So, 25,000 tons of essential products, 1,500 tons of construction and mining materials, 263 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, and about 10,500 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 4th month of the current Iranian year.

In general, about 12.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 4th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.14 million tons were loaded and 6.19 million tons were unloaded. This is a decrease of 6.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
