BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 24. The number of domestic flights (passenger planes only) via Iranian airports decreased by 9 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
In total, more than 278,000 domestic flights were carried out from Iranian airports in the last Iranian year.
Meanwhile, the figure stood at approximately 305,000 in the preceding Iranian year.
