BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. The number of passengers transported via Iranian airports domestically increased by 14 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
In total, more than 32 million passengers were transported domestically through Iran’s airports for the last Iranian year.
Meanwhile, the figure stood at over 28 million in the preceding Iranian year.
