ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 11. Turkmenistan Airlines plans to operate cargo flights to Milan (Italy) and Shenzhen (China) starting from July 16, 2023, Trend reports.
According to official data, these flights are planned to be operated on Airbus 330-200P2F cargo planes of Turkmenistan Airlines with a frequency of once a week.
Cargo transportation between these cities will be carried out in order to successfully implement the tasks set in the "National Program for the Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for 2012-2030".
Meanwhile, at an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held in mid-June this year under the chairmanship of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammetkhan Chakiyev informed about the purchased and commissioned two Airbus A330-200P2F cargo aircraft.
At the same time, he informed about the opening of new directions for cargo transportation from Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) to Seoul (South Korea) and Hanoi (Vietnam).
