ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 26. Turkmenistan Airlines has started operating cargo flights to Shenzhen (China), Trend reports.
According to an official source, the cargo flight from Shenzhen to Turkmenistan's Ashgabat city became the first direct international cargo route between the Great Gulf region and Turkmenistan.
The first cargo plane took off from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on July 23 with a cargo of electronic products, clothing, and other goods.
Flights involving Airbus A330-200P2F cargo planes operated by Turkmenistan Airlines will be operated once a week.
Meanwhile, the new cargo route is the first Central Asian route from Shenzhen and will promote trade between China and Central Asian countries.
