International cargo traffic via Iran’s airports surges

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. The volume of cargo transported through Iranian airports to international directions increased by 4.54 percent during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), compared with the same time last year, Trend reports.

More than 26,800 tons of cargo were transported via the country’s airports to international destinations in 5 months, as reflected in the data of the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC).

Meanwhile, the figure stood at over 25,600 tons in the same period as last Iranian year.
