BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. The number of domestic flights (passenger planes only) via Iranian airports dropped by 7 percent in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2023), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
Data from Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC) shows that around 174,000 domestic flights were carried out from Iranian airports during the past 8 months.
In the corresponding period of the previous Iranian year, the number of domestic flights was about 187,000.
