BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. The number of passengers transported via Iranian airports domestically fell by 6.7 percent in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2023), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
Data from Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC) shows that over 19.9 million passengers were transported domestically via the country’s airports in 8 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure exceeded 21.3 million.
