Turkmenistan's Customs Service expands fleet with new cars

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 29. Turkmenistan has purchased 20 new official vehicles for its State Customs Service to improve operational efficiency, Trend reports.

According to the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, 10 Toyota Fortuner passenger cars, 5 Toyota Hiace minibuses, and 5 Isuzu water carriers have been placed at the disposal of employees of border customs posts.

Vehicles intended for use by the State Customs Service and its structural divisions are provided with all necessary amenities for both drivers and passengers.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is striving for intensive development of the customs sector through active purchases of modern vehicles.

The government of the country is systematically investing in the renewal of its fleet and the purchase of specialized customs vehicles to improve control and monitoring of the movement of goods.
