ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 30. Turkmenistan's Tümendenizderyayollary Agency spare parts for equipment and machinery of the International Turkmenbashi Seaport, Trend reports.
According to the Turkmendenizderyayollary Agency, the purpose of the procurement is to ensure the smooth operation of the port through timely repairs and maintenance.
At the moment, the agency is looking for a contractor to supply spare parts for gantries and cranes, trucks, and rigging equipment, as well as for the fleet and emergency rescue service of the port.
The agency plans to consider all proposals from interested Turkmen and foreign companies by the end of January this year, after which it is planned to finalize the contract with the contractor.
Meanwhile, the strategic development of ports such as Turkmenbashi is accompanied by the introduction of modern technologies and the improvement of logistics processes.
This will support expanding port capacity, cutting cargo turnover time, and strengthening Turkmenistan's place in the global cargo transportation picture, adding to the country's economic growth.
