ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 17. Turkmenistan and Türkiye plan to launch direct flights between the cities of Ankara and Ashgabat, Trend reports.
According to an official source, this was stated by Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok at the Turkish Cultural Center in Ashgabat city, on the occasion of Tourism Week in Türkiye.
The diplomat stressed that this would be an important step in strengthening transport links and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
The Ambassador noted that the opening of direct flights between the capitals will contribute to the further development of tourist, business, and cultural exchange, which will allow citizens of Turkey and Turkmenistan to travel and explore the sights of both countries with greater accessibility.
