BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. An international forum on the Middle Corridor, the Middle Corridor Forum, will be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on July 2, Azerbaijan Maritime Engineering & Construction LLC (AMEC) told Trend.
AMEC and the Caspian Energy Club are among the organizers of this event, which will invite employees from companies in the Middle Corridor countries, representatives of European businesses, and experts to participate.
"The agenda of the event is being finalized. Registration for the forum has begun," AMEC added.
To note, AMEC Logistics sponsored the Europe-Asia Intermodal Logistics Forum, which took place in Rotterdam on May 30-31 and focused on the creation of the New Silk Road.
Earlier, in April, with the support of AMEC and the Caspian Energy Club, a forum dedicated to the development of transport and logistics in the Caspian and Black Sea regions was held in Rotterdam.
In the summer of 2024, AMEC will celebrate its 10th anniversary. This company is actively promoting Azerbaijan's interests in developing the Middle Corridor.
The Middle Corridor, which also marked its 10th anniversary in 2024, is under scrutiny by the global community for facilitating trade between two major economies, China and the EU.
In 2023, the Middle Corridor facilitated the passage of 2.7 million tons of cargo, with projections indicating that the volume may surpass 4.2 million tons in 2024.
