Modern agro-complex to appear in Uzbekistan

A modern agriculture complex will be established in the Bayaut district of Uzbekistan's Syrdarya region. The complex will specialize in the cultivation, storage and processing of export-oriented fruit and vegetable products.

To this end, the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange provided financial assistance in the amount of 2.8 billion soums to Boevut Tezkor Madad LLC, specialized in maintaining agricultural machinery, servicing them and growing agricultural products, reads the corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The specified amount was transferred to the statutory fund of the LLC, and the Exchange became its participant.

The government instructed UZEX to create a modern agro-complex on the basis of the company "Boevut Tezkor Madad" and implement projects on processing, conservation and storage of agricultural products based on high technologies.

The Exchange was also instructed to develop a plan of measures to further increase the export potential of the agricultural complex and create new jobs for 2017-2018.

The official exchange rate for November 1 is 8,078.10 UZS / USD.
