Kazakhstan, Almaty, Feb. 9 /corr. Trend R.Mashadihasanli / Almaty was declared a leader on the level of crime and unrevealed law violations amongst towns of Kazakhstan. The Kazakh Interior Minister Baurzhan Mukhamejanov criticized Almaty policemen.
On Feb. 9 he met with employees and Almaty's akim, Almaty's akimat told Trend .
Roughly, 12 percent of all crimes registered in the Republic are committed in Almaty. It is a high index. The Interior Minister was dissatisfied with work of some sub-units.
Almaty's akim stressed that the share of unrevealed crimes remained the highest in the Republic, the press-service said. Roughly 6,802 crimes, more than half of all registered crimes, are unrevealed in 2008.
