The Nurbulat Masanov Debate Club will present a book titled, "Increasing State Governance Efficiency by Eliminating Corruption in Kazakh Legislation," in Almaty on Feb. 20, an independent news agency head Sergey Duvanov told Trend in a telephone conversation.
Professor Nurbulat Masanov developed a draft to verify and analyze Kazakh legislation on corruption in 2006, Duvanov said. The European Commission allocated a grant in 2006-2007 to finance the book.
Kazakh International Bureau on Human Rights and Legal Observance Director Yevgeniy Zhovtis will present the book.
Political scientists, lawyers, analysts, journalists, public officials and international organization representatives have been invited to the presentation.
