Max Petroleum Plc, an oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Kazakhstan, is pleased to announce that it has commenced drilling the ASK-2 exploration well in Block E, targeting Jurassic and Triassic reservoirs with estimated unrisked mean resource potential of 50 mmbo, Max Petroleum reported. The report says, total depth of the well will be approximately 3,300 metres.
