About 15.8 percent of voters voted in the elections to the Majilis (lower chamber of Parliament) and maslikhats (local representative body) in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Central Election Commission reported.

About 15.8 percent of voters voted in the elections to the Majilis (lower chamber of Parliament) and maslikhats (local representative body) in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Central Election Commission reported.

About 4.2 percent of voters voted in the city of Astana, 2.1 percent - in the city of Almaty, 16.3 percent - in Akmola region, 13.9 percent in Aktobe, 32.3 percent - in Almaty region, 37 percent - in Atyrau region, 24.7 percent in the East Kazakhstan region, 14.6 percent - in Zhambyl region, 6.9 percent - in the West Kazakhstan , 12.4 percent - in Karaganda region, 27.8 percent - in Kostanay region, 23.8 percent - in Kyzylorda region, 2.5 percent - in Mangistau region, 13.9 percent - in Pavlodar , 25.3 percent in the North Kazakhstan , 4.9 percent - in the South-Kazakhstan.

The Nur Otan national-democratic party, Adilet, Kazakhstan Patriots' Party, Nationwide social-democratic party, Ak Zhol, Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh Social Democratic Party Auyl are all taking part in the elections.
