Due to a sharp drop in air temperature, traffic was closed on roads in the country's eight regions, Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry said. All traffic was stopped in all directions for diesel and public transport services n Astana.
Roads were also closed in Akmola, Aktobe, Eastern Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Kostanai regions and North Kazakhstan regions.
