In Almaty region at the station Taldykorgan on February 18 an 01:50, as a result of spontaneous rolling, train, consisting of a locomotive and 13 wagons rolled on dead-end siding, the press service of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported.
"Because of this reversal and derailment of 5 wagons, 2 gas tanks, and locomotive has occurred. Railway was blocked by a transverse position of the locomotive and wagons, moving on the railway is impossible. There was no threat of explosion and fire. No victims and injuries were reported. At 18:15 minutes work to restore the locomotive and wagons on the rails was finished, "- said in a statement.
