Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan and Iran's Ambassador discuss cooperation

The Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbaev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran Gorban Seyfi discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation at a bilateral meeting on Wednesday, the press service of the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan said.

The Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbaev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran Gorban Seyfi discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation at a bilateral meeting on Wednesday, the press service of the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan said.

During the meeting, Daulbaev expressed his satisfaction with the level development of bilateral relations and expressed the willingness of the prosecution authorities of Kazakhstan to establish closer relations with Iranian counterparts. He added that Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan is interested in cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, cyber crime, drug trafficking and corruption.

Daulbaev also invited the Ambassador of Iran to conclude interstate agreements on legal assistance.

In turn, Gorban Seyfi invited Daulbaev on behalf of Iran's prosecutor general to take part in the first meeting of attorneys general - members of ECO, which will be held in May in Tehran.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
