ArselorMittalTemirtau is developing a project to construct a high quality thermal coal concentrate factory in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh National Innovation Fund said today.
The new factory will reduce the alienation of land resources and emissions to water and air basins of the region.
The project is being implemented at the unit No 3 in "ArselorMittalTemirtau", Temirtau city.
After the factory is constructed, additional land alienation will not be required. The emissions will be also reduced.
According to the report, ArselorMittalTemirtau annually wastes disposal from coal enrichment in a volume of about 1 million tons.
