Senate Speaker Kairat Mami met with the special envoy, Ambassador of Singapore to Kuwait Zainul Abidin Rasheed, the Senate said on Wednesday.
Rasheed arrived in Kazakhstan to participate in the fourth meeting of the foreign ministers of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
The meeting highlighted the importance of inter-parliamentary relations to strengthen bilateral relations. Mami called for increase of cooperation between the parliaments of Kazakhstan and Singapore.
The sides noted the capacity for the successful development of bilateral cooperation in all areas of intergovernmental relations.
