The Kazakh government has adopted a resolution whereby export tax duties on oil products are to be increased.
The resolution was signed by Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov on September 7 and will take effect 10 days after its official publication.
According to the data, the customs duty rates on the export of light oil products hit $168.88 per ton and dark oil products - $112.59. Export tax duties on crude oil hit $40 per ton.
The following are the rates of export customs duties until the resolution enters into force: export crude oil - $40 per ton, light oil products - $164.97 per ton and dark oil products - $109.98.
