EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will visit Kazakhstan for the first time in November 2012, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said following the meeting of Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Volkov with EU Special Representative for Central Asia, Patricia Flor.
It was also reported that the issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU in Central Asia were discussed during the meeting. Special attention was paid to the preparation of the ministerial meeting in "Central Asia - European Union" format in Bishkek, Novosti-Kazakhstan said.
