An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded in Eastern Kazakhstan region on Tuesday morning, European-Mediterranean Seismological Center said today.
The earthquake occurred at 11:19 Astana time.
The epicenter was 57 kilometers to the south from the village of Koshkar.
There is no information about victims or damages.
About six hours earlier an earthquake measuring 6.6 the Richter scale was recorded in Kazakh Almaty region.
