Yerlan Nysanbayev was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection in Kazakhstan, the ministry reported on Friday.
"On February 1, 2013 Minister of Environmental Protection, Nurlan Kapparov introduced new Deputy Minister Yerlan Nysanbayev to the ministry's staff," the ministry said.
Nysanbayev earlier served as Chairman of the Forestry and Hunting Committee under the Agriculture Ministry.
