Presidents of Kazakhstan and Finland to discuss bilateral negotiations

On April 17 the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev is to meet the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö, who is going to pay his first visit to Kazakhstan, the official representative the Central Communications Office Altay Abibullayev told reporters on Monday.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the state and prospects of Kazakh-Finnish relations and to consider a wide range of regional and international issues, he said.
"The leaders of the two countries will hold bilateral negotiations and take part in a Kazakh-Finnish forum on the 'green' economy and modernisation. The possibilities of introducing environment-friendly innovation technology from Finland into our economy will also be discussed," Abibullayev said.
He also said that on April 17-18, officials of both countries will take part in the Astana mining forum 'Minex Central Asia' to examine investment attractiveness of the mining sector and the development of mineral deposits in the region.
