Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a law on 'Ratification of the Protocol on Making Amendments and Additions to the Agreement on cooperation in the construction and operation of the Kazakhstan - China gas pipeline between the Kazakh government and the government of the People's Republic of China as of August 18, 2007', the presidential press service said today.
The gas pipeline will pass through the Mangistau, Aktobe, Kyzylorda and South Kazakhstan regions.
It was signed in Beijing on October 14, 2009. The Beineu-Shymkent gas pipeline is considered in the document as the second section of the Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline.
