The donors will allocate some $25 million for the development of livestock sector of Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG quotes the country's minister of agriculture and melioration Chingizbek Uzakbayev as saying on Tuesday.

The donors will allocate some $25 million for the development of livestock sector of Kyrgyzstan, KyrTAG quotes the country's minister of agriculture and melioration Chingizbek Uzakbayev as saying on Tuesday.

He said that the money is allocated to the "Development of livestock and market" project, which starts in autumn.

The budget of the project is $25.8 million.

Some $20 million of the amount is allocated by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), while rest of the sum will come from local institutions.

The term of the project is 5 years and it will be evaluated in 2018.
