Saparkhan Omarov has been appointed new deputy minister of agriculture of Kazakhstan, the country's Ministry of Agriculture said on April 1.
"Saparkhan Omarov has been appointed deputy minister of agriculture in accordance with the Kazakh government's decision. Previously, Omarov was a member of the Accounts Committee for control over the execution of the republican budget," the ministry said.
Omarov has held various positions in the National Securities Commission of Kazakhstan, the State Food Contract Corporation. He worked as deputy head of the economical department of parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and an inspector of the state control, organisational and territorial work department. He was appointed a member of Accounts Committee for control over execution of the republican budget in 2011.
