Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan agreed to establish a common navigation space, a Russian high official said at the Navitech-2014 forum on April 23.
"The creation of common navigation space between Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus is among our top priorities. Appropriate agreements have been already signed," Kremlin administration head Sergei Ivanov said.
Russia intends to expand international cooperation in satellite navigation, Ivanov said. In particular, Russian specialists will participate in the work of international structures that define rules and recommendations ensuring compatibility between the Russian navigation system GLONASS with navigation systems of other countries.
