The prosecutor general’s offices of Kazakhstan and Turkey have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the visit of Turkey’s Prosecutor General Hasan Erbil to the country.

The prosecutor general's offices of Kazakhstan and Turkey have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the visit of Turkey's Prosecutor General Hasan Erbil to the country, the Kazakh prosecutor general's office said on May 28.

A bilateral meeting with the Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbayev took place during the visit.

A constructive conversation and exchange of views on topical interagency issues, such as fighting against the transnational organized crime, terrorism, extremism and cybercrime and so on took place during the meeting.

Daulbayev praised the fruitful cooperation with the competent authorities of Turkey in strengthening legality and ensuring law and order of the two countries. Herein he underlined that a full pack of interstate agreements in legal sphere has been signed between two countries.

In his turn, the Prosecutor General of Turkey Erbil thanked his Kazakhscolleague for the reception and expressed his readiness to deepen the cooperation.
