Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Kyrgyz Prime Minister Joomart Otorbaev, Kazakh presidency said.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of cooperation between the two countries in trade, economic, investment, fuel and energy spheres.
They also focused on the issues of electricity supply from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, as well as the results of the 5th session of Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Council.
The session chaired by Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Joomart Otorbayev has been held in Astana.
Following the meeting, heads of governments of the two countries signed a protocol of the 5th session of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council.
