Two major electricity supply projects will be implemented in Kazakh city of Aktau, Kazinform reported.
The deputy head of Mangistau Electricity Distribution Company said that the company will establish two 220 kV voltage lines worth 13.2 billion tenge (180.87 tenge =$1).
The lines will ensure the reliability of electricity supplies to oil and gas fields in the region in future.
The first project is a high-voltage line Aktau-Karajanbas. The project will cost 6.8 billion tenge. It is expected to be completed in 2016.
The second project is the high-voltage line Aktau-Uzen. The project will cost 6.4 billion tenge and is planned to be completed in 2017.
Mangistau Electricity Distribution Company has investment plan till 2019.
