A 4.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the south-east of Kazakhstan March 3, said the Seismological Expedition of the Kazakh Education and Science Ministry.
The earthquake occurred at 16:49 local time (UTC/GMT+6 hours) some 102 kilometers north of Almaty.
The epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
