Kazakh tenge weakens against US dollar

Kazakhstan's national currency tenge has weakened against the US dollar.

The official exchange rate of tenge was 336.52 KZT/$1 in June against 332.73 KZT/$1 in May, according to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, in comparison with January, the exchange rate of tenge was 365.83 KZT/$1.

The official exchange rate of tenge was 378.95 KZT/1 euro in June against 378.16 KZT/1 euro in May and 397.39 KZT/1 euro in January, according to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The official exchange rate of tenge was 5.1 KZT/1 rouble in June against 5.16 KZT/1 rouble in May and 4.73 KZT/1 rouble in January, according to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The minimum rate of tenge was observed Jan. 22 - 383.91 KZT/$1 since the beginning of 2016, according to the bank.

The exchange rate of tenge began to decline after the country's National Bank switched to a floating rate in August 2015.
