Kazakh President appointed all members of the new government, the presidential press-service said on Sept. 13.

Saken Zhasuzakov was appointed to the post of defense minister. Previous Defense Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov was earlier appointed to the post of the deputy prime minister.

Marat Bakytzhanov was dismissed from the post of deputy head of the Presidential Administration and appointed as justice minister.

Other ministers retained their positions: Erlan Idrisov was appointed to the post of foreign minister, Kalmukhanbet Kasymov - minister of internal affairs, Dauren Abayev - minister of information and communications; Yerlan Sagadiyev - education and science minister, Tamara Duysenova - minister of health and social development.

Zhenis Kasymbek retained his post of investment and development minister, Bakhyt Sultanov - finance minister, Arystanbek Muhamediuly - minister of culture and sports, Kuandyk Bishimbaev - national economy minister, Kanat Bozumbayev - energy minister.

The new government was formed after dismissal of former Prime Minister Karim Massimov from his post. Bakytzhan Sagintayev who earlier served as the first deputy prime minister was appointed to this post in a new government.
