The Kazakh National Geological Exploration Company 'Kazgeology' conducted aerogeophysical surveys in Kostanai region to search for polymetals and copper porphyry ores.

The company carried out aerogeophysical surveys using unique technology ZTEM, with a depth of research up to 2.5 km, in October . In particular, an aeromagnetic and aeroelectromagnetic helicopter survey using ZTEM technology was performed on the Benkalinsky area in the Kostanay region, according to the company.

The data will be processed and presented in the form of digital databases, maps and interpretation products, on the basis of which recommendations will be given for subsequent research and verification work.

The aim of aerogeophysical studies in this area is "the localization of point and area objects that are promising for mineralization of polymetallic and copper-porphyry types."

Unique in the geophysical industry, Canadian Geotech’s exclusive ZTEM™ (Z-Axis Tipper Electromagnetic) system leverages the earth’s natural (or passive) fields from global thunderstorm activity as a source of transmitted energy.
