The Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Magzum Mirzagaliyev has commented on the situation with diesel fuel in the country, in particular, regarding the imports from Russia, Trend reports via Kazinform.
“The situation has already improved. We previously said that we needed to import about 100,000 tons, and we imported at least 146,000 tons. There are no restrictions on the sale of diesel fuel at gas stations now,” Magzum Mirzagaliyev said.
“We have carried out the delivery of necessary supplies that needed for the repair at the Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery, moreover,” the minister added.
Mirzagaliyev also commented on the increase in prices for fuels and lubricants.
“The price of fuel and lubricants will not be regulated. It is impossible to regulate, because when discussing the price of fuel, we must remember two things: independence from the Brent prices, as well as the price of the contractor. There should not be a big difference from the formed price,” Mirzagaliyev said.
