BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. A number of passengers served at Kazakhstan's airports increased in the first quarter of 2022, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan's Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
According to the statistics, the number of passengers served at the airports of Kazakhstan from January through June 2022 increased by 10 percent compared to the same period of 2021 (8.1 million) - up to 8.9 million people.
"The Kazakh airline Air Astana in the reporting period served about 1.8 million passengers, FlyArystan - almost 1.4 million, SCAT Airlines - about 1.7 million, Qazaq Air - 238,000 passengers," the message said.
Meanwhile, nowadays international flights from Kazakhstan are carried out to 28 countries on 115 routes with a frequency of 518 flights per week.
