BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 24. The volume of tax revenues and duties from the Kazakh Nur Zholy checkpoint located on the border of Kazakhstan and China has been published, Trend reports via Kazinform.

According to the information, during the operation of the checkpoint, from October 2018 through October 2022, more than 209,400 vehicles were moved and 223 billion Kazakh tenge ($479.2 million) of customs duties and taxes were received.

On the Kazakh-Chinese border in 2018, the Nur Zholy new automobile checkpoint was put into operation, located in the Western Europe-Western China International Transit Corridor.

The checkpoint provides for the movement of 2,500 vehicles and 15,000 individuals per working day, in both directions of traffic, including cargo vehicles - 2,200 units and passenger vehicles - 300 units.
